We kindly invite you to a trip to Vilnius organized by Birštonas Museum on July 31, 2026, during which we will honor the memory of Professor Jonas Kazlauskas and visit his eternal resting place.
July 31 program:
• 09:00 – departure from Birštonas bus station.
• 10:30 a.m. – Memorial service for Professor Jonas Kazlauskas at Saulė Cemetery.
• 11:00 a.m. – visiting the grave of poet Justinas Marcinkevičius at the Antakalnis cemetery.
• 12:00–13:30 – excursion to Vilnius University with Professor Jurgis Pakeris.
• 3:00 p.m. – stop at the eternal resting place of Juozas Palionis in Nemajūnai.
• 3:30 p.m. – we will end the trip in the cozy shade of Professor Jonas Kazlauskas' hometown in Matiėšionys, where we will share meaningful memories and enjoy snacks we brought with us.
