The Sacral Museum is exhibiting a temporary exhibition of religious works, consisting of statues preserved by collectors Violeta and Romanas Raulynaičiai.
The exhibition presents works of art from the 19th and early 20th centuries, revealing the scenes of depicting saints that developed in Lithuania, their artistic expression, and the history of this tradition. The main highlights of the exhibition are the Pieta and St. George, which are very often and popularly depicted in folk sacred art.
This is a great opportunity to get to know the work of Lithuanian folk masters and the traditions of idol-making.
