On September 19, Birštonas will host music, dancing couples, and the Lithuanian folk dance tradition - the children's and youth folk dance festival "Jievaro tiltais" will take place.
The festival will bring together young dancers from Birštonas, Šiauliai, Vilkaviškis, Pasvalys, Punskas and Klaipėda. Seven children's and youth folk dance groups will perform, giving the audience an energetic, colorful and traditional dance spectacle.
The celebration will begin at 2:00 PM at J. Basanavičiaus Square, and at 3:00 PM the dancers will move to the fountain of the Versmė sanatorium.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy the enthusiasm of young dancers, the beauty of Lithuanian dance, and the continuity of traditions.
We invite Birštonas and city guests not to miss this beautiful autumn celebration!
In case of bad weather, the event will be held at the Birštonas Cultural Center.
