For the first time in Lithuania, a 3-day herding competition "International Unique Speed Trial Birštonas" is being organized according to the rules of the ISDS organization (for Border Collies only).
Competition date: August 1-3, 2025.
Competition location: Panemunio village 6, Birštonas district.
Competition with all 3 classes!!! 3 (Open) 2nd and 1st classes.
3 fields: 2 fields over 2 ha, the other over 10 ha.
The dog has two runs per day, a total of 6 runs per competition.
Sheep: skudės, Lithuanian coarse wool, crossbred.
Judge: Petra Szarvas (HU)
The purpose of the competition: the tenth anniversary of the beginning of herding in Lithuania and the establishment of the working border collie kennel "Unikalus Greitis".
Before the competition, a practical herding seminar with Petra Szarvas will be held on July 31, 2025 (Shepherd dogs that are not necessarily participating in the competition, i.e. other breeds, can also participate!)
Registration for the competition will begin on May 9, 2025 at 9:00 PM.
Dog limit: 25 dogs per day.
