"This is the beginning of the new cycle INVOCATIONS. IN THE WORLD, related to the survival mantras I created, which are interpretations of the Major Arcana of the TAROT cards. I saved myself with phrases that came from the very depths of my spirit. Well, in the summer of 2025, while traveling in Vietnam, I looked for confirmation of my words in the looks, faces, and poses of the women, girls, and young women of this country. And I found it...", says the author of the exhibition.
What is Vietnam here? It is in the exhibition. It was Luana's first trip to this country, and we see many of her shots. But 22 are exceptional. "The exhibition is about what I wanted to talk about. The initial idea was to photograph each Tarot card so that it would be "in the subject", against some suitable background. And then I realized that I had to photograph people - girls, women, their faces, I was looking for confirmation in their eyes that my mantras were intended for them... This is how a separate cycle emerged." And even later, says Luana, the idea came to me that this was the beginning of a new cycle "Conversations. In the World"...
