We kindly invite you to the presentation of the photography exhibition "Expedition to the Birštonas Region. 1954"., which will take place on March 18, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the Birštonas Museum (Vytauto g. 9, Birštonas).
The exhibition presents unique photographs from the 1954 ethnographic expedition (Vaitiškės, Siponys, Šaltinėnai, Jundeliškės, Nemajūnai and other villages), preserved in the photo library of the Folk Art Department of the National Museum of Art of Lithuania.
Representatives of the Lithuanian National Museum - Dalia Bernotaitė-Beliauskienė, Daiva Beliūnienė and Žydrė Petrauskaitė - will participate in the presentation of the exhibition and will tell you more about the expedition.
