PROGRAM:
22:30 conversation with the evening's guest,

23:00-23:05 HOME (dir. Rebeka Salomėja Kavaliauskaitė, prod. Vilnius College)

A lonely man lives in a city full of people, but he cannot see them. Blackness covers his brain and he loses touch with reality. The path is always the same, up and then down. The man finds a red stone as if searching for meaning, but it does not create it. Having not found a way out of the city, the man himself freezes like a stone. The man's search turns him into stone.

23:05-23:20 AFTER PASSING NAPOLEON'S HAT (dir. Arnas Balčiūnas, prod. Augustė Puteikytė, LMTA KIMO)

A son picks up his father from a psychiatric hospital and takes him home to his grandparents. The father tries to repair their relationship, but the son, like his grandparents, remains indifferent to him. They spend the day together.

11:20 PM-11:43 PM SUJIP (dir. Gintarė Parulytė, prod. Greta Akcijonaitė, Vincent Quénault, Jeanne Geiben, Greta Garbo Films)

Aleksandar's first day at his new workplace. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary office, but when the phone rings, we hear Pius confessing that he wants to take his own life. We realize that this is a helpline for those contemplating suicide. The call, which starts out awkwardly, gradually turns into a touching conversation between two peers.

23:43-01:22 AKIPLĖŠA (dir. Saulė Bliuvaitė, prod. Giedrė Burokaitė)

Two teenage girls dream of escaping from a rundown industrial area. Kristina, who is going through a relationship crisis with her father, wants to become a famous model and leave home as soon as possible. Marija, a newcomer to the town who wants to fit in, follows in Kristina's footsteps. The girls do not yet know what beauty and love mean to them, so they are guided by the perceptions of their friends from the yard and repeat what is acceptable in their environment. Competition, jealousy, dangerous company and the promise of a better life force them to harm their bodies to increasingly extreme levels. "Eyesore", which began its impressive global journey with the main award at the Locarno Film Festival, is a film about the desire to fit in and the price we pay for trying to achieve perfection
