On a quiet Monday morning, the owners of a cafe – sisters Angelė and Laima – receive a mysterious visit from a customer. The employees soon suspect that it is a tax inspector. Is it true? In any case, the usual workday turns into a chain of unexpected events and the peaceful daily routine collapses in an instant.
Adding to the confusion is a charismatic employee, an emigrant from the Balkans, whose Lithuanian is as ridiculous as his ideas. Each character starts offering their own "brilliant plan" to evade a potential inspection.
And just when it seems that the situation has reached a dead end, the story suddenly takes an unexpected detective turn.
UNUSUAL MONDAY is a fun, witty, and intriguing comedy that will not only make you laugh, but also surprise you with unexpected plot twists.
