The presentation of the two-volume publication "A Few Years of My Youth in Vilnius. Memoirs of a Hermit (1818–1825)" by Stanislovas Moravskis will take place at the Birštonas Kurhaus.
Written in 1848 at the Ustronė Manor (now Jundeliškė, Birštonas Municipality), the work is one of the most famous Lithuanian self-documentary sources of the first half of the 19th century. The book was prepared by Dr. Reda Griškaitė and published by the Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore.
Participants: Dr. Reda Griškaitė, Dr. Asta Vaškelienė, Dr. Saulius Špokevičius, Dr. Regina Koženiauskienė, Gytis Vaškelis, patrons Rūta and Rimvydas Baranauskai, actor Henrikas Savickis, flutist Jurgita Otienė. The event will be hosted by Dr. Marius Daraškevičius.
