Birštonas – as a destination for wellness, SPA, nature and active leisure – presented in the Netherlands

This is a free, large-scale international cultural event, which this year was attended by almost 50 representatives of different cultures. At one of the largest international cultural events in The Hague, visitors to the Lithuanian stand were introduced to the country's culture, tourism resources, regions and resorts, Lithuanian traditions and gastronomic heritage. Festival guests could taste traditional Lithuanian delicacies, participate in quizzes and communicate directly with Lithuanian representatives. The event presented Birštonas as a health and recreation destination, emphasizing the resort's natural resources, health and SPA services and active leisure opportunities.

On September 7, the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania, the Public Institution "Keliauk Lietuvoje" and the airline "airBaltic" organized a tourism B2B individual business contacts fair for Dutch tour operators and agencies. During the event, the tourist resources of the Birštonas resort were presented to Dutch tour operators - agencies, and tourism consultants. Tour operators were interested in health tourism, medical rehabilitation services, and individual trips for women's recreation.

After the presentation of Birštonas at events in the Netherlands, contacts were established with representatives of travel agencies and tour operators, and communication about Birštonas is being carried out as a wellness, SPA, nature and active leisure destination. We will be pleased to welcome tourists to the Birštonas resort to relax, vacation and spend time actively.
