Birštonas Resort presented at the international Embassy Festival in the Netherlands

Birštonas participated in the event together with the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Palanga Tourism Information Center. The presentation of the resorts was initiated by the Lithuanian Resorts Association.

Festival visitors were actively interested in Lithuania as a travel destination. When presenting the Birštonas resort, much attention was paid to information about the resort's natural resources, cycling routes, camping and SPA services. The fact that Birštonas has natural healing natural resources was especially surprising - this attracted great interest from both local residents and foreign tourists.

It is gratifying that some of the event visitors had already heard of Birštonas or even visited it. The event was also attended by a number of Lithuanians living in the Netherlands, who were actively interested in news from their homeland.

Given the successful participation, it is recommended to represent Birštonas again at this event next year, including camping service providers. It is also suggested to update the information publications, dividing them according to relevant topics: active leisure, nature and wellness services.
