How a wax candle is born

In ancient times, candles were an indispensable source of light. During the educational session, participants will learn about the origin of beeswax, the craft of candle making, and the customs and traditions associated with it. In the practical part, each participant will make two natural beeswax candles: one will be cast in a mold, and the other will be rolled from a wax wick. During the session, the differences in the methods and techniques for making these candles will be discussed.
The education is intended for students in grades 5–12.
Program duration – approximately 65 minutes.
The cost of the program per participant is 4 EUR.
