Let's talk about folk art

During the educational session, participants will get acquainted with Baltic symbols, Lithuanian traditional patterns and their meanings. Ornaments found in folk art, carving, paper cutting, fabrics and other handicrafts, their shapes and symbolism will be discussed. In the practical part of the session, participants will apply the acquired knowledge by creating an ornament of traditional patterns on a linen bag.
The education is intended for students in grades 1–12.
Program duration – 55–70 minutes.
The cost of the program per participant is 4 EUR.
