International exhibition of works by participants of the watercolor plein-airs held in Neringa in 2024-2026 "Symphony of Colors"
The famous watercolor master Sergiy Lysyy, who lives and works in Klaipėda, is organizing an international watercolor plein air in Nida for the third time. The plein air "Symphony of Colors", which took place on August 19–25, 2026, brought together artists from various countries. With the support of the Neringa Municipality Administration, the goal of the plein air is to introduce world-famous watercolor masters and their work to Lithuania and to popularize plein air painting.
Painting in the unique nature of Neringa, the artists vividly and authentically captured the changing light and surrounding environment, flowing freely and expressively, relying on realistic colors. The race with changing shadows, dust and wind, sun heat or rain poses challenges, but at the same time gives the works spontaneity, natural transparency, freshness and life.
One of the highlights of this year's plein air is the participation of world-class watercolorist Stanislaw Zoladz. The artist's watercolors were chosen to decorate the official Nobel Prize diplomas awarded to the winners of the 2019 Chemistry, 2020 Physics, and 2021 Economics Prizes.
