about
“Instructor” is a comedy written by Dominykas Klajumas and Benas Lastauskas, born in Hollywood style and without the sourdough of Lithuanian cinema, in which Martynas (Justinas Jankevičius), a proud but kind-hearted Vilnius resident, loses his driving license through stupidity and clumsiness. Having given in to this, Martynas once again angers his pregnant fiancée, who leaves him and goes to live with her parents. In an attempt to get her back, the main character embarks on a seemingly unremarkable journey to regain his rights, during which he meets the Instructor (Dominykas Klajumas), an even stranger teacher at a strange driving school. For Martynas, regaining his rights becomes the greatest test of his life, which is conducted by the sly instructor. He will not only make Martynas cry, laugh, blush with shame, but also understand the truth: Keeping your rights is hard. It’s even harder to be nervous!
