PILGRIMAGE BIRŠTONAS–NEMAJUNAI
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Kaišiadorys Diocese.
Intentions of the march: to renew the Church with the power of the Gospel, praying for the grace of the Holy Spirit and the intercession of the holy apostles Peter and Paul for the diocese and its faithful.
JUNE 28 (Sunday)
9:45 a.m. The journey begins from Birštonas St. Anthony of Padua Church with the blessing of Mons. R. Jurkevičius, pastor.
12:00 p.m. Stop at the Nemajūnai Day Center /travel participants will be accompanied by a vehicle/ Short break before the service
1:30 p.m. Holy Mass of Indulgence at the Nemajuņi St. Apostles Peter and Paul Church. The Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Emeritus Juozas Matulaitis and Vievis Parish Vicar, Father Povilas Slaminis
2:30 p.m. Celebration agape The organizer of the agape is the Nemajuņi Community Association. The folk music band "Vilainiai" will perform.
