about
We invite you to an open meeting - a conversation with Ingrida Šimonytė about state and municipal budgets, taxes, and public spending.
Public finances often sound complicated, but their essence is very mundane: the state chooses where to allocate limited money. Therefore, it is worth understanding how those choices are made, why funds are available for some things and not for others, and how every citizen can better evaluate government decisions.
The event will be attended by Ingrida Šimonytė – Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, former Minister of Finance and Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania, and one of the Lithuanian politicians best versed in public finances.
The conversation will be moderated by financial expert Eladijus Kirijanovas.
Come, ask questions, discuss. Public finances are too important not to be interested in them.
