Sundial

Birštonas Gymnasium 2025 graduates, wanting to leave a small memory of themselves, together with geography teacher Daiva Dabrišienė decided to implement a project work – a sundial. The project was attended by: Emilija Varnelytė, Jokūbas Tarnauskas, Ignas Kimbirauskas, Ieva Marčiukaitytė and Nojus Griušelionis. The clock was installed in the gymnasium's inner courtyard, on the playground, near the shelter for bicycles.

Terms of use:
1. Stand at the line for the month you want to be in. You must stand right next to the line.
2. Extend your left arm up. It should be straight and close to your ear.
3. Look at where your shadow falls. It should be straight - adjust the straightness by changing the position of your hand. The left edge of your shadow will become an arrow showing the time. Yellow color indicates summer time, white - winter time. The months are also marked in the corresponding color. We have specially marked the 19th hour, because we are the 19th Birštonas Gymnasium graduation show.
